The giant sponge cake shop called Le Castella from Taiwan have open its first outlet in Singapore. Their first outlet is located at Tampines 1 just besides the cold storage. In Taiwan they have three flavors which is original, cheese and chocolate. But in Singapore for now, they only have original and cheese flavors. Those who like to eat chocolate will have to wait at least a month before they launch their chocolate flavors. Some other local flavors that are going to launch in the future such as Pandan and kaya.

The one above that you see is the cheese flavor. Basically I love to eat cheese so I decided to go for the cheese flavor. But the queue on Friday was really crazy and long. When I reach there, they say that a few batches have been sold out since morning and they can only start to take order from 12:30pm. But then as the queue was super long, they decided to start to take our orders from 12 noon. We just need to write down our name, number of quantity for each flavors and our contact number. Once it is ready to collect, they will immediately contact you.

So I placed my orders at 12 noon and I waited for 1 hour to get this cake. And as you can see, it is so huge that it is measured by 23cm by 16cm. For now, I hope that they can open another outlet in the west area and in the central area as well.

Yezinice Coconut Shake from Malacca had recently arrived in Singapore about a week ago. And their first outlet is at Westgate which is a shopping mall located at Jurong East that is connected to Jurong East MRT. And of course they are famous for their coconut shake. Besides coconut shake, they also have some other shakes such as avocado shake, lychee shake and mango shake and other shakes as well.

They also sell waffles as well. But their waffles are just like those ice cream sticks which is very unique to me. Some of the flavor that they have for the waffles are strawberry, hershey chocolate and mango. And not only do they sell shake and waffle, but they also sell coconut tart.

While I am waiting for my coconut shake to be done, one of the staff offered me a small piece of coconut tart to let me try. And the taste was nice and I like it and I will definitely go back there one day to buy their coconut tarts for my friends and family members. Hopefully more outlets to be open in Singapore.

April's bakery specializes in home-made pies and there are more than 60 outlets in Bangkok itself have finally arrived in Singapore late last month. And the Singapore outlet is its 1st international outpost. All the pies that they sell in store are very affordable as mostly are priced at $2 each. The pies that they have currently in Singapore are taro, red bean, thai tea, green tea, sweet egg floss, sesame, purple sweet potato, custard, pumpkin and coconut.

And the one that I have try is the sweet egg floss pie. I like the flavor of this pie because the taste is sweet and the plus point is that it is not too sweet. So it is suitable to share with friends and family members to enjoy eating all these pie. But when I went there a few days ago, they are only left with sesame and sweet egg floss pie. And if you go there and do not have the flavor of the pie that you want, you need to preorder with them first and they will contact you once the flavor of the pie that you want have arrive and will be ready for collection from them.

And their first outlet is at Tampines MRT station just opposite Tampines Mall and they are open from 8am onwards till 10pm daily or till sold out. So be sure to come early to get your pie before you go to work or go to school. And hopefully they can open a few more outlets in Singapore within the next few years.

The Japan famous pastry and cake shop with over 4,000 outlets around the globe have arrived in Singapore 2 years ago. And within a span of 2 years, they have expanded to about 10 outlets almost all around Singapore. The next outlet will be opening soon at ION Orchard taking over the space of London Sandwich Co. Some of the outlets even sell Hokkaido Milk Latte and Cheese Tarts. They are mostly famous for their cakes and they even sell ice cream and many other cool desserts.

And this is one of the cake that I have try. If I am not wrong, this should be the strawberry tiramisu cake. To me when I first taste this cake, the strawberry was not so sour and was not so sweet. The taste was just nice for me. And I love the taste of the whole cake even though it was a bit creamy. But the taste was perfectly fine for me.

And this is the cake that I have try next and is matcha cake. In the middle of this cake, there is the taste of red bean which I love it very much. And the matcha texture is not so bitter and it is just nice for me to eat it. Overall these two cakes taste nice and delicious. But the matcha cake is mostly the popular seller.

And to take note that one of the outlet is actually a cafe which you can sit down to chill and relax with your coffee or tea and cake or some other pastry or desserts. And it is located at Toa Payoh HDB Hub. So next time when you walk past a chateraise cake shop or a chateraise cafe and you have some time to spend, remember to check out their cakes on display because they have a lot of nice and delicious and beautiful cakes.

Chir Chir Singapore

So just last month I went to this new restaurant at 313 somerset. Is called Chir Chir Fusion Chicken Factory. They have just opened their first outlet in Singapore and second outlet is opening soon at Bedok Point in March 2015. And on every table, they have a bell for customer to press once they are ready to order. So after browsing through the menu, I have decided what I want to order. And after ordering, the waitress serve me some sweet corn and some purple stuff which I do not know what is it but is like very sweet and crunchy.

So I order this as my starter, and it is Chir Chir Cheese Fries (as shown above). It is very worth it because it comes in a very big portion and the price is reasonable. It taste very nice and I really loves to eat cheese fries. And whenever I saw cheese fries, I will definitely order it.

And for the main I order this which is nested snow chicken (as shown above). The chicken tastes good and fresh, it blends well with the cream and the whip cream in the middle is delicious. The portion is huge because the chicken comes in very huge pieces. It taste nice, creamy and the chicken is a bit spicy and is tender fresh.

And for the drinks I order Blue Sky (Blue Lemonade) Tok Tok Non-Alcoholic. The drinks is really cool as an iSi soda charger is used to fizz the drinks up at the tableside before it is serve. The drinks will be serve in a jug and they will provide you with a glass to pour and slowly enjoy the drinks.

Wrap and Roll opened its first outlet in Singapore in Year 2012 at The Star Vista selling authentic Vietnamese food. And now they already have 4 outlets in Singapore. So on January 14,2015 Wrap and Roll have opened its 4th outlet at Changi City Point. Changi City Point is near to Expo MRT Station. So they have some new dish and new drinks that I found on the menu. One of the new dish that they have on the menu is Vietnamese Jellyfish Salad. They also starts selling ice cream. Some of the flavours are Hanoi's Young Sticky Rice Ice Cream and Cinnamon Ice Cream. They also have new drinks on their menu. One of the new drinks which I ordered to try is Lemongrass Drink. It tastes very nice and refreshing.

And one of the new dish that I recently tried is the Tamarind Chicken Wings. It is an exclusive dish at Changi City Point. Will given 6 wings to try and after trying the first one, wanted to keep on eating because it taste very nice and it blends well with the sauce. The sauce was also very nice and the sauce and the chicken wings make a good combination.

And finally here comes the main dish which is pork chop rice with southern sauce. The sauce together with the rice and the pork chop taste very nice. And the pork chop is so delicious. And it also comes with the salted egg pudding. I do not love to eat eggs but after eating this salted egg pudding I slowly starts to love to eat eggs again. And the portion is just nice for me, not too much and also not too little.

Honey Creme, a Korean-style dessert chain from Taiwan opens its first outlet in Singapore at 313 @ Somerset on October 26, 2014. On the opening day, it attracts many people to queue for the ice cream. I queue about 1 hour and 30 minutes and finally able to eat the ice cream.

They have flavors like chocolate bean, dark chocolate and many other unique flavors. And Honey Creme will be expanding here and in the region.


The most popular flavors are Organic Cotton Candy Affogato, Organic Cotton Candy and Popcorn. They also even sells macaroon beside serving delicious yummy ice cream. Honey Creme outlet is located at Level 1 beside 7-11 and in front of the taxi stand.

Milk & Honey Artisan Yogurt And Dessert Bar

Milk & Honey Artisan Yogurt And Dessert Bar have just opened 2 outlets in Singapore. They are located at City Square Mall and One KM Mall. Milk and Honey Artisan Yogurt And Dessert Bar have just open its 3rd outlet at Bukit Panjang Plaza and also its 4th outlet at JEM. You can either order their parfait to try or create your own parfait. The eclair is delicious and the royal honey parfait taste nice. It also had popcorn.

The parfait that I had tried is chocolate divine parfait. The chocolate divine parfait is so delicious and I feel like trying it again. Anyway you can create your own regular parfait in 6 steps:

Juk Story

Juk Story has just opened in Singapore recently. It serves 23 different type of porridge. Juk Story currently has one outlet at Clifford Centre. Direction to Clifford Centre, just take MRT to Raffles Place and take exit A. After that, turn right and you will see the small building called Clifford Centre. Once you reach Clifford Centre, go down to basement and will be able to find the restaurant.

Another outlet will be at Eastpoint Mall. The mall just reopen on December 2, 2014 and is just next to Simei MRT. And the restaurant is located at level 1 next to Long John Silver's.

The drink that I have order is peach tea. Because I love peach very much, so I order it. And the porridge I have is chicken porridge with cheese. And there is biscuit on top of my porridge. And the biscuit taste nice. As for the chicken porridge with cheese, the cheese really goes well with the chicken and the porridge. And I love the cheese taste. Some other porridge that they serve are pumpkin porridge, mung bean porridge, porridge with crab and many other unique flavours of the porridge.

Super Dario Lasagne Cafe

Super Dario Lasagne cafe is a new cafe which just opened last month. The cafe is at level 4 opposite Daiso. And they also provide home delivery, but do call them to check if they deliver in your area. For FREE home delivery, a minimum order of $20 is required.

Saturday, Sunday and PH: 11:30 to 22:00

So they sells a lot of different lasagna such as Super Dario, Donkey Kong, Super Chicky Dario, Princess and many more. They also sells lasagna which are only vegetarian such as Koopa and Yoshi. And after you order, they will heat up the lasagna for you before serving it to you.

So besides just calling them for delivery, you can also come down to their cafe and have a try of their delicious lasagna which serve fresh and hot everyday.
